I have been having a lot of Braxton hicks over couple weeks which over last few days have been a lot more intense. My bump is dropping lower everyday and as well as peeing more frequently I have had a non-bloody mucus discharge this morning. Oh and babies head is DEFINATELY engaged!

I didn't have any pre-signs of labour with my first. So feel totally blind.

Are these signs of early labour? Or is it just because his head is so low?

I had exactly the same for about 3 weeks as baby's head was fully engaged.. Some nights by BH would step up a notch and I would think things where happening and then in the morning they would be gone, it's just a waiting game but shows things are moving along.. Once the real contractions start you will soon know about it as it stops you in your tracks and you can't talk through them. Good luck xx

I would say that's all normal. I've experienced all that too around that time. Make sure to drink lots of water. That was my problem and I was getting alot of braxton hicks. Discharge increases around that time, and also peeing alot and bladder discomfort as the baby's head is resting on it. Just all normal stuff as you're moving closer :)
