Early scan 5+2

So had U/S today at 5+2 hcg was 1380 yesterday. They didnt find anything on the scan no sac at all tech kept saying it was just to early but I was so hoping to see something. I really hate being in limbo. Going for more bloods next Mon so we will see what they are do a rescan had slow rising hcg at the beginning but are now doubling. Gonna try and keep my PMA until I hear otherwise. Have had brown spotting for the last few days so hope bubs is a late implanter.

I'm crossing my fingers for you, PuppyMom. I'm pretty sure that 5 weeks IS mega early for a scan so try and keep up the PMA.

Our first scan was 6wk and about 3/4 days and it had to be internal cos it was so tiny, and my Doc said to wait until at least 6 weeks as otherwise there was 'nothing to see'.

Are your HCG figures good? I never got mine so don't know what is normal.

Yeah they say they are more than doubling now which is good and shows that it probably isnt another ectopic which is why I had the early scan in the first place. Everything I have googled (LOL) says that hcg should be 1500 for a scan so mine was kinda early I guess each person is different.

Normal is the best words you can hear - at my scan my oh said he was never so relieved to hear the word "normal" - all's looking good so far Puppymom - when's your next scan?

Thanks ladies pretty sure it is over for me started bleeding heavily this morning so I guess the scan was right just still praying it is not in my only tube as I have been having severe pain in my lower left side.

Oh puppymom, i am SO sorry to hear that. Have you called the doctor? Don't suffer in silence.

Yeah they are gonna do more blood tomorrow to make sure they are going down and if not then probably do another scan of the tube to make sure it is not in the tube. Might be able to take something a little stronger than tylenol then too.
