early scan today

Hi all, had an early scan today; I am 8.4 weeks gone. I was surprised and pleased, but I have a clot which isn't far from the yolk sack, which increases my risk of mc (I had this before but at 6-7 weeks). So on one hand I was pleased and on the other I was like okay so still not in the clear as yet. So I have to go back in two weeks; am nervous but will see what comes..

yay! Congrats! I too had what they described as a collection of blood at 6/7 weeks but it was all gone by the 12 weeks scan. My baby boy was (and still is) absolutely fine.

Stay positive. Apparently it is very common.

Yes, don't worry too much. Just wait till the next scan, in the meantime be relaxed so your baby will be calm as well
