Early Scans....

Hiya! I'm hopefully having an early scan tomorrow (I have an appointment at EPU, they didn't say anything about a scan, but I'm assuming I'll get one!) I'll be around 6 weeks and 3 or maybe 4 days pregnant. (but I do think I might be a bit further on as my cycles are a bit longer etc) anyway, what would I see at 6w3d? Or what would I not see?

At 5w5d I seen gest sac and yolk, apparently alot of people see a heartbeat if equipment is good and an internal scan is used so you never know. The woman said the best you can hope for is a that the sac is measuring well, but you might even see your little bean x

Yeah, I had mine as I was unsure on dates then because it was too early to see heartbeat,she told me to come back in two weeks, so have another week to wait. Let's hope we have a rainbow x

I'll be at least 6w3d...so I hopefully should see a hb?

Commonly yes, depending on the equipment, fingers crossed x

I've attached my 6wks5days ultrasound pic for you. We heard a heartbeat. It will depend on the machinery they have but most likely you'll be able to see it. Best of luck - let us know how it goes!

Well, we saw a little flickering, looked like the equipment was a bit old tbh, but we saw the baby!! I was in such shock that nothing really sunk in that she said! I have to go back in 2 weeks so they can have a better look! I'll be 8 weeks 3 days by LMP then!

CONGRATULATIONS! I've read that most miscarriages happen either before the woman knows shes pregnant or a problem with the embryo actually growing into a baby so the fact that you have a baby in there should take the chances right down. Well done on sticky bean xx

Yeah, I read that too, and it must have been when my two happened, but WOO!! I have a baby in my belly!!
