Hi

Could anyone tell me what sort, and how the bleeding would be if you were having a ectopic pregnancy?

Is it dark/light/stringy like bloody cm?

Thanks

It is very variable.

If you think that you might have an ectopic your best bet is to get yourself seen by someone asap.

hey visqueen i agree with maxine1 if you are concerned or even just
worried i would get a doctors option do you know if you are pregnant?

every one is different so there is no real answer to give you any real clues the only way to tell is if you are in pain on one side if you go on to the nhs web site they have all the symotoms on there for you to look out for but not all the syptoms are as as in plain sight as they say they are so if you are worried that you maybe you should go and see the doctor an get it checked out wishin you all the best take care honey x:hug:

Hi - I've had a miscarriage and an eptopic and the two are very different.

What makes you think you might have an eptopic? Do you have a history of it in your family? Do you take the mini pill? there is a higher risk of having an eptopic if you take the mini pill (not the normal pill).

When I miscarried I knew i was pregnant and had the "usual" sort of period pain with bleeding.

With the eptopic I didn't know I was pregnant (and was taking the mini pill). Collapsed with awful pain down one side and in shoulder - no bleeding whatsoever. Went to GP who said it was bowel problems! Having had kids before I knew something was wrong so did test. Bypassed GP and went straight to A&E and was admitted immediately.

The girls are right. If you have any concerns go and see your doctor straight away as any sort of bleeding during pregnancy needs to be checked out.

If you have been taking the mini pill, have family history, pains on one side and/or shoulder go to A&E immediately and tell them your concerns. It is better to be checked than not.

Look after you.
:hugs:

hi, i had an ectopic pregnancy and had none of the symptoms they say to look out for, no pain anywhere no bleeding, just a bit of heavyish spotting on and off.

you need to see your doctor asap though to ge checked out, hope this helps:hug:
