as I finally can spell the word correctly  I though I might be allowed to ask another question 'bout it without bothering you guys :hi:

this time I would like to know, for how long flare ups of eczema were lasting until calming down?

Juleika had inflammed skin for two weeks whereas now it is about to heal!

it feels very long

Ella's would come up for weeks at a time, then calm back down. It's a lot better now, but between the ages of 10 months to about 18 months it was really nasty.

I have found that it depends on what caused the flare up. My son's will last anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. One thing that has helped is finding a lotion that his skin responds to well and making sure we put it on him religiously after baths. I'm sure you know, but you have 3 minutes from them time they get out of water to get the lotion on. Finding a lotion that his skin likes has been our key to success.

I never heard about those 3 minutes, but looks like you never heard about this:

Well the 3 minutes came from our specialist doctor. That's what we've been told and it seems to be working out for us. As far as the website that you listed goes, I don't understand. What does it have to do with eczema?

'cos the eczema came after her second lot of jabs, and even my hayfever came all of a sudden when I was 10 after the third dose of an immunisation!!!
