Evening All,

This is my third pregnancy and the last two times edd was determined by my last period. Bearing in mind I always go over my due date by a week, my edd in this pregnancy has been determined by the growth scan which sets my original edd back by a week as baby is developing a week ahead than I expected.
What way has your edd been determined and does anyone have experience of using edd derived from the growth scan? If yes was it accurate for you?

My EDD has always gone by my growth scans at 12 weeks, so far they've differed anywhere from 1 day to about 6 days I think. Apart from my first though who i was induced with I have always gone over, 7/6 and 3 days. :)

With my first i was estimated by last menstrual period due date of 7/7/14. My ultrasound EDD 7/4/14. I delivered on 6/18/14.

Currently my due date with LMP is 6/15/16 but ultrasound EDD 6/18/16 (my sons birthday!!!!!!!) time will tell

My 12 week scans have always given me the same date as I had going by LMP, or maybe been off by a day or so. Your midwife will go by the date you got from the scan though, as everyone's cycles are different lengths.

You can always keep both due dates, I've done so before because my midwife always got the date wrong whenever she used her little spinny thing to show my EDD going by my LMP (I'd count 40 weeks from the first day of my last period, but somehow she got a different date to mine). Anyway, both my boys were late, so if you're the same you know a duedate doesn't really matter too much :winkwink: (though it's nice to have something to count down to)
