Egg Collection Monday - Really Nervous

OMG!!

My follies are all ready, the HCG shot will be given tonight and Egg Collection is Monday morning.

I am soooooo nervous.

I've never made it this far in IVF before. Any veterans out there that can tell me its not that bad? Pain and I do not get along.

Pain is not bad at all latestarter. If your clinic is anything like mine, they give you a sedative that will put you to sleep, and you will sleep through it all. Trust me, you won't feel a thing. I was a nervous wreck and all I know is I was waking up and the procedure was over.
Afterwards you may have some AF type cramps and discomfort, but nothing too unbearable, at least in my experience. They give you Tylenol and a heat pad for the discomfort.

Like Mendy, my clinic gave me a (well several) sedative and i slept through the entire thing. It was amazing! In fact, I'd do that cocktail of drugs again in a heart beat. I was talking to the doctor and the next thing I remember is her waking me up to say "16 eggs". Apparently in the process of going to sleep I told her I've been craving a beer. lol. I don't remember that. But, I am still craving that beer!!!!!!
