Hi lovelies,
My history is 3 DS from a previous relationship 1 ds with DH then 2 mc at 10 & 11 weeks babies stopped growing at 6 weeks
So we know it is not the combination of us that cant carry a baby.
I am 37, DH is 35 and we have been told it is due to my age, I have been reading bits online about egg health which seems to poo poo the idea of egg health deteriorating and says we need to eat healthy, not drink, do exercise, take a good multi vitamin, maca, horny goat week, CQO10 Enzyme, Folic Acid, antioxidants........
My question is A) will I rattle if I take all of these
B) has anyone done any of these and do you think it helped??
We are desperate to have another baby but terrified to try again atm (last mc was 7 weeks ago)
Hope someone can help xx

Is your doctor willing to test you for AMH levels and perhaps an antral follicle count to test ovarian reserve? That's the best way to see if your age is perhaps the issue.
I believe a doctor that just blurts out "it's your age" without the data to back it up is being unnecessarily alarmist and mean.
I believe the eating well, not smoking, minimal to no drinking, regular exercise and otherwise clean living is a healthy recommendation. However, the hard scientific data on some of the other things you listed is either not existent or sketchy at best. Yes to a multi vitamin and yes to folic acid or folate, but the rest have very mixed results reported from people.

I have my 1st hospital app on Monday with the recurrent miscarriage team, I have no idea what they are going to test me for.
What is the AMH? and the other bit you mentioned?
