sooooooooooo what is the reason they can't have them? Is it purely because of allergies? Stan gave Hannah egg white the other day (don't ask) and I now know she's not allergic to it so can she have it?

yeah its cause some babies can be allergic to the protiens in egg

But what signs do we look out for to say that baby is allergic?

Our hv told us to give her eggs, I am nervous as there are many allergies in our family, but as far as we know, none to eggs, but I am still nervous and last night OH said I had to start giving her some.

Hannah does too.........she hated the yolks alone though

Yeah ive never heard this, Seth has eggs all the time, he especially loves dippy egg and soliders HV said it was ok. Might explain a thing or two now though

My sheet from my pediatrician says that the only reason we are advised to wait until they are a year old is because some babies have bad allergies to egg whites. If she didn't have a reaction I would say your fine to give her egg whites.
