EIF on ultrasound

Has anyone had echogenic intracardiac foci (spot on heart, soft marker for down syndrome) show up on the ultrasound with no other markers for chromosomal anomalies?

I personally haven't, but I've heard it's not uncommon to only have only one soft marker. Doesn't necessarily mean your baby will have Downs. Did your doctor express any concerns?

I haven't seen my doctor yet. The nurse called and said everything was great. We can view all our reports, vitals, and office summaries online, so I was able to read the report of my ultrasound. It was expressed in the report.

I would be worrying too, but if the nurse said it was okay then I don't think they're worried about it. Keep us updated? Thinking/praying for you!!

Thank you! I know there isn't much we can do at this point.

I e-mailed the office right before I began writing this, and the nurse called me right away (I love my doctor's office). They had the doctor and a maternal fetal specialist review the entire office sound. The nasal bone was prominent and the length of all the limbs were where they should be, so they are not putting me at a much great risk for ds. They think everything is fine. I was told not to worry (yeah right!) and she said if it was ten years ago they probably wouldn't have even picked it up on the ultrasound and we wouldn't know about it. They were very small.

I was hoping someone else would have had this and can offer me personal reassurance. Thank you for your response and prayers, though!
