ELCS on Wednesday and frightened :(

I had a section for undiagnosed breech under spinal anaesthesia and I haven't been in a lot of pain at any point (the procedure itself was painless although I felt a little nauseous with the spinal for a short while). The recovery is frustrating (not being able to drive etc) more than really painful BUT make sure you take things easy for a couple of weeks after. Keep mobile but be really kind to yourself. I managed on little or no pain meds after about 5 days. I experienced very little bleeding although I know some people experience more. I had a bit of referred shoulder pain which I hear is common but it went away after a couple of days. My scar is really neat too and I am actually surprised by how small it is. Good luck and enjoy your little one.

i had an emergency c section, my daughter was undetected footling breech but the actual c section was not that bad hun.
