Electric steriliser question

This is going to sound ridiculous and this is a serious question! I am a first time Mum and this is all new to me. I've never even changed a nappy, anyway I've bought a Tommee Tippee complete kit with the electric steriliser. My question is, do I need any sterilising fluid for it or does it just use water?

My Mum said I need fluid like Milton but I was under the impression it just used water?! Am I thick? Or just stupid?!

Don't worry. I had no clue till I had my first either. No nappies, barely even held a child.

You don't need sterilising fluid with it, just water. When I first used one I didn't trust it as it used such a small amount of water. After it had run though though I realised it was fine.

Ask all the questions you want, don't feel stupid.
