hey ladies, its been a while. I wanted to give u guys an update on elena!! She has been home since april 5th thank god!! She came on a feeding machine, oxygen, and oxiemerter. She is weighing a little more then 10lbs. She turned 7 months this month (4 months corrected) Since she has been home she has only needed the oxygen when she gets sick which has only been twice. Her ROP is almost completely gone, and her pulmonary hypertension is almost completely gone. She finally got the ok to use her G tube. Which is nice we didn't have to switch it out to the GJ tube, her barfing as stopped. She goes in next month to do the swallow study to see if she is aspirating and if she isn't then she will get permission to try breast feeding!! She is doing so amazing and let me tell you guys she is seriously the happiest baby I have ever seen. She is a morning person which let me tell you mommy ad daddy r not well they aren't till they see her smiling face in the morning. I cant believe how far she has come since last November!! From being her little 1lb 7oz to 10lbs.
