Me and my husband welcomed our little bundle of joy, Elizabeth Danielle, on the 26th of November at 6:33 a.m. weighing 6 lbs. and 8 oz. and 19 inches long...not a very long story about her birth...I had been going about my normal routine, cleaning house, keeping my 2 1/2 yr old son entertained, and trying to catch up on everything because i hadnt felt much like doing alot...well night time rolls around and my back is hurting like crazy, and i just figured it was the normal pains of her being so low, mixed with bending over picking up toys, sweeping, mopping etc...well it got to be around 9:30 that night, and all of a sudden i started having contractions...and they started out 20 mins apart, then got closer, anf closer...my husband got me to call 911 because he knew i was in labor, and they arrived at our house about 12:15 am. Got to the hospital about 12:45 am and the nurses there were like we have to check you first before we can admit you, i was like go ahead and i was 7 cm dilated & 100% effaced. Got moved to L & D and they gave me my epidural, told me they would check my progress every 30-45 mins. At about 6 am my doc said well you havent progressed anymore so im gonna break your water and give you IV fluids and Pitocin so we could get things moving along. At 6:30 i paged them and told them i think im starting to feel pressure and my nurse lifts up the blanket and her head was coming out. My doc come in and told me to push one more time for her shoulders to come out and she was born at 6:33 am.... couldnt be more happier!
