Here is my birthing story.
As some of you may know I suffer with pre-e & have done in all my pregnancies. I was due to have induction on the 2nd of October. I was admitted to maternity ward. I was due to have my induction started but they didn't have any beds on labour ward so was given the pessery to start to open my cervix. Contractions started but never dilated me. They said it was an reaction to the pessery. Contractions stopped my waters went on their own. But cervix still closed the next day. So another pessery was given contractions started again. Still not dilating at this point I was worried about infection. The night mw were horrid creatures! My dh & I had barely slept 5hours in 2 days. It came to 2am on the 4th I had, had enough!! I walked out my room and said I wanted to speak to the duty hospital manager as still no one had monitored my baby for 9hrs!! & I was in danger of infection. Then all of a sudden labour ward had a bed! Which I think they always had one! :/ they monitored me for 1 hour then started my drip. They said I should only need about 3mls to get me into labour. But they turn it up every 30mins. And the most I could have was 60mls with out consultants say so. It got to 24ml and still nothing happened! So I decided to sleep. So did dh it had been such a stressful few days..
I was woken up at 7.40am to the mw's panicking saying can't you feel this! I said no why? To which they replied your on 60mls! They saidi'm going to check you and get the consultant to up it to 90mls! I was 3cms dilated at this point. They walked out to get the consultant! I felt this almighty pain and woke dh up. Screaming quick babe it's happening!!! The pain was the worst I had ever felt! I did both my other labour pain free! I had the gas & air did nothing I was sobbing the pain was so great! My dh held my hand I was screaming & shaking. I thought I was dying! lol. I said babe I need too poo! And she was born! After just 3 pushes! Born at 8.29am. Just 50mins after being woken up. It was the fastest labour I have even had &most painful. The only diff was the drip! Which I have never had. With my other inductions. She weighed 6lb 13oz at 37weeks+5. We had to stay in 12hours make sure she didn't get an infection. She is perfect in every way xxxx

Wow that sounds like a very quick birth, glad she has arrived safely. She's very cute congrats

I have that to hold on too, the fact it was so fast! My poor dh hands! He said I squeezed that hard it was like having his hand in a G clamp! Hahaha xx
