Embarrassing Question

Just wondering if this tmi question has happend to you? normally when we dtd some of my hubby's fluid comes but last night nothing did not even today. I was ovulating yesterday. Has this happend to anyone or do you think that it just wasn't very much. We have had three days on trot of bding??
Any info appreciated thanks

That made no sense I mean non came out of me after we finished. It normally comes out when I stand up but nothing??

Could be two things, one when you O your cervix is actually more open so the spermies swim up it rather than drop out or (more likely) you were on day 3 of repeat BD and so there was just less volume of semenal fluid.
Less total fluid volume doesn't necessarily mean less sperm though, it could be concentrated.

Frankly i'd just enjoy being leak free

I guess I'm over analysing things worrying that nothing came out of him on that night we needed it the most.

Generally they say it's better to BD every other night for optimal sperm, but i know it doesn't always work out that way in guessing your cycles and timing BD.

Don't worry, you've done all you can in BDing and that's all any of us can do

Yeah I got my first high so we bd'd then the next day we got the peaks hence three days in a row. We do generally keep it to every other. Just so strange that nothing came back out. I should be a pro by now after the many years of trying but every now and again something happens that you question.

I find if we bd around ov i "suck it up" as df puts it. I don't leak any of it, but at other times i do! Go figure!

That happens to me sometimes, too. I'll walk around very paranoid the next day, expecting it to all come gushing out any second. Doesn't happen often enough for my liking, I don't like dripping!!

HAHA! what a great thread . I always leak out and its rather gross. Feels like I am peeing on myself! I try not to go anywhere shortly afterwards lol.

Honestly, I find lately that when DH "releases" it hurts. Like, (especially if I Orgasm at the same time) it feels like it shoots right up through my cervix into my uterus (knowing what that feels like now after the HSG lol). It's not painful, just hurts a little bit for a minute. That happens whether I orgasm or not.

While we are on an "embarrassing" topic, could I ask you ladies about positions? Personally, I like Doggie best. It's more comfortable for both DH and I. BUT, isn't missionary the most optimal position for a deposit? The thing about missionary with me is, he rubs against my clit (sorry TMI!) and usually results in a UTI a day or 2 later (even if I clean it afterwards). Honestly, I am afraid to try it because if I do succeed in pregnancy, I would be MISERABLE with a UTI! And there would be no way for me not to take antibiotics or AZO to relieve the pain (it's that bad!).

Wintersong I've been told any "deep penetration" position is good, and doggy is definitely a deep one if you ask me. But remember, there's teenagers getting pregnant left, right and centre whilst having sex standing up in an alley somewhere, in hot tubs and hell knows how else. Nature knows what to do and those spermies will get where they need to go regardless.

I'm limited to missionary pretty much as OH has a very sensitive penis/foreskin and that's the only position he's comfortable in. I think doggy might be ok for him, too, but I'm too self conscious for that position lately.

WinterSong - the slope of the vagina supposedly makes it a better sperm-conductor if you are lying on your back (the angle changes quite a lot if you go doggy)
But UTI's are no fun and can't be good for you .... so what if you flip over straight afterwards?
I'm sure a few seconds of sloping the wrong way can't hurt - just do the old 'bum propped on a pillow for 20 minutes afterwards' thing

urchin- yea, I generally flip over and prop my bum for at least 30 min everytime. I did a thread in the 1st trimester forum section asking about positions and most women said they achieved pregnancy via doggy style and propping their bum up. So, think I will keep at it

Hi, I do think that sometimes it just gets all sucked in as one of you said.. Just an anecdote, I once went mad with DH asking him if he had "faked" it because I was not dripping... He thought I had totally gone crazy... he told me "I don´t think men can even do that".. I was furious that there was no evidence... I was O´ing that day but it was the first time it ever happened and I freaked out... I googled it and it seemed that it is rather normal to not drip out sometimes... especially after bding frequently... so I felt better, and I was sorry to freak out on poor DH..

Haha yes thats exactly why I asked because sometimes I think hes said he has and he hasnt. God this trying to conceive messes with your head sometimes doesnt it. I guesse its a good thing if it stays up there. x
