Ok that girl wasn't happy, but her baby was a few months old wasn't he/she? It seems to me she didn't bother trying to fix it, she just hated it and that was that. I think surgery should be the last scenerio.
Hi hun,
With loose skin and abdominal diastasis like that girl had, there was literally nothing she could do to fix it - you can't tone up the loose skin because there is no muscle there, and the muscles when separated like that sag and can't be toned. It is sad but all she could do was loose weight, and even then she would still have a tummy very much like that because it wasn't an issue of fat. Unfortunately some women do get bodies like that after pregnancy and there is nothing they can do about it except for either accepting it, or having plastic surgery.
If your body is really getting you down (depression) and you are certain that you cannot live with it or change it, and you are prepared to undergo a very serious operation then a tummy tuck would seem to be the answer...
But believe it or not this is normal for some women and it is possible to grow to 'accept' or even love your new body and men DO still find women attractive after they have had babies.
My mum is a great example; My dad died when I was young, and my mum (Despite having very badly torn muscles, sagging skin and very thick, deep stretch marks) had quite a few partners while we were growing up - she didn't throw this in our face, I only know this looking back in hindsight with a grown up understanding - and she now has settled with her partner and they have 2 beautiful babies (a 2 y/o little boy and a 6 month old little girl) and they are both very happy (understatement).
Life does go on after having children. Your tummy is not everything. Remember, you can love your tummy HOWEVER it looks, and a toned flat tummy is NOTHING compared to a young, confident and sexy woman IN ALL. Confidence is sexiness, girls!
