Hey ladies!

Does anyone here ever get a wave of emotions when you start nursing/pumping? Every time I breast feed I feel slightly sick and kinda sad. It only happens while breastfeeding, my friend had the same thing and stopped breast feeding because of it. I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about it, ever felt the same way, or if it ever went away?

Your LO is still very young, maybe a touch of the baby blues? Keep breastfeeding, don't give up.

Me too! I used to get a really bad mood swing when she started feeding, and it made me feel really down for about 30 seconds, then it faded off. It just went away by itself after the first couple of months, though.

Bloody hormones, eh?!

Its quite normal, i had it. But perserve and t will be fine, hormons will settle down. xx

I know EXACTLY what your talking about!! I had it in the beginning, it was at the start of a feed and more so from the left boob!? It was kind of like a home sickness feeling..
It will go after a while, try reading or watching tv when it's happeneing to take your mind off it. :)

I didn't have this but I remember reading a post about it ages ago. I'll see if I can find it.

Here it is https://www.babyandbump.com/breastfeeding/318681-whats-sad-feeling.html

The link about D-MER is pretty interesting.

Oh I know exactly what you're talking about!! When my LO was still new it was that overwhelming thirsty feeling. Like you hadn't had anything to drink for months and were parched. The older she gets the rarer it happens but in the past couple of months it feels like a surge of emotion. My eyes tear up and I just want to cry and then I realize.. OH! That was the letdown again I'll be okay in a second.

Is it like an empty.. I need something feeling? cause that's what mine's like a lot!

Hey i didnt get that but I hope it gets better for you. If you want to stop dont feel bad hun. xx
