Ive been out of work for 1.5 years (wow just realised how long that is lol) and ive got my 1st interview tomorrow :happydance: its for a job i have no experience in (receptionist) but training will be given

So basically im wanting to know what makes an interview stand out for you! What would make you want to hire someone???

Im kinda nervous as we need the money and dont wanna mess up!!!!!!!

Firstly do research on the company, when did they open, what exactly do they do etc... Basically the front page of their website.

Read the job description carefully, look for specific words like teamwork, working to deadlines, prioritising tasks and have an example for each as the job spec normally forms the basis of the questions.

Think of other areas of your life job etc... where you've had to learn a new skill. Then you can say you're a quick learner, achieved before when had no experience etc...

Make sure you dress well, apart from first impressions it'll make you feel confident.

And I know how hard it is but relax, you want your personality to come across.

GOOD LUCK!!!
