Hi ladies! I am wanting to hear some success stories, I have been on this journey almost 2 years. I am 32 and so is dh. I started seeing a RE last May because we were nearing our one year mark of ttc and having NO luck! My only issues were somewhat irregular periods and spotting before Af. So, I had post coital, hsg, numerous u/s and everything is fine. We cold see thru u/s that I had a fibroid, but my RE said that shouldnt be what the problem was. My doctor kept bringing up endometrosis saying that 80% of women over 30 and never been pregnant have some degree of it. So it has always been in the back of my mind, nagging.

I started on clomid (50mg days 3-7) immediately & continued for 6 cycles with no pregnancy. My doctor said that since I was getting AF roughly once every 30 days I was ovulating, which I already knew from temping. After 6 cycles on clomid we decided to take a break and go au natural and see what happened until the beginning of this year. We went back to the doctor in February and he said a laparoscopy was e next step. And since we were doing that he would do a hysteroscopy to remove the fibroid because it will grow during pregnancy. The lap & hysteroscopy were very information and beneficial... Stage 3 endo was removed and I ended up having 2 fibroids in my uterus, one was the size of a small egg. My RE said our chances now would be significantly higher now & he was very confident we found out the reason for my infertility. My next cycle post surgery I did 50mg clomid, trigger, and iui, which failed. I am now in the middle of my second cycle after surgery and have done the same thing as the previous cycle. We did iui last Saturday.

I am looking stories of pregnancy after endo and/or fibroids removed assuming that these were our only problems!!

Thanks in advance for the information!!! :) I really appreciate it!!

I had a lap to remove my endo in November 2011, and I got my first ever BFP on April 15. Greatest day of my life! My Dr. said we had the best chance of concieving within 6 months of my surgery, our BFP came just weeks before my next appointment to talk about our other options. I had definately given up, and I did not expect to see a positive on that test.

Best of luck to you, and lots of baby dust!

Thank you Janers!!! Glad to know there is hope still!!
