Endocrinologists?? please help

Hi Ladies,

went to go see the gyno yesterday - utter useless, any way, i have an appointment with the endocrinologist a week on wednesday to try and see if my hormones are having any affect on my absent/irregular periods...

has any one been refferred to one regarding this? and if you have what did they do treatement/test wise? xx

I went to one a few years ago, not about my periods (even though they were mucked up) but my Thyroid!

And thankfully I did as I needed it removed and the replacement thyroxine I'm on now helps with my periods too as they are regular!

Oh hun, know the feeling. I've recently changed hospitals as my last gyne was an utter MUPPET in my opinion! New gyne is fab and is now doing further tests on me

i wouldnt mind but it wasnt even the person i was supposed to be seeing, just turns out she was the person to get to me first.

I know hun and it just gets more and more frustrating.

I've been to a reproductive endocrinologist. Here (in the US), reproductive endocrinologists are the ones who do the assisted conception.

arghh so there is hope then? .... hopefully he will help me get my cycles back on track. x

no ive not tried accupuncture, will give it a go though if i dont get any where through my endocrinology appointment. xx
