Hi all,

title says it all... i have got a gyno appt on the 1st july for my irregular periods etc... now i have had a letter through saying im on the waiting list for the endocrinology dept as well! what is this? what do they do? n e help would be much appreciated xxxxxxx

Sorry to barge into your forum, I was just over here checking on my TTC buddies and I saw your thread. I was seeing an endocrinologist for irregular cycles and no BFP. Basically they will check your thyroid and various hormone levels to be sure your system is working as it should. I imagine they will measure estrogen, progesterone, LH, FSH, etc., and may give you something to regulate your cycles. Good luck finding your AF!!

my hubby is off to see a endocriniologist cause some of his hormones are low apparently i think they specialise in all hormones, hopefully they can help you, good luck x
