Engorged in pregnancy?

Lately I have been getting uncomfortably full if I don't nurse my son often enough. Because of his age he wasn't nursing much anymore but now if I take a break for too long my breasts become hot and swollen and the ducts feel hard...
Has anyone had this happen? I seem to have more milk now than in the first trimester.

Definitely can't speak from experience as had low supply & stopped bf after 8 months.
Would you consider donating milk to the hospital. We have a big neonatal unit in the city and they receive milk from bf mums for their tiny babies.

I will have to see if it is legal here, especially for a pregnant mother. It seems my milk has changed. At least my toddler said it's different.
I did have low milk supply until about 2 years postpartum and had to take fenugreek. If you run into the problem again give it a try! I had to take 6 for 2 weeks in the beginning before my supply went up and then was able to reduce it to 4, 2, 1 and suddenly later on I had a good milk supply
