engorgement - how long?

So milk came in last night and boobs have been really engorged since.

just wondering how long i can expect this to last? I been using hot/cold compress and my right breast seems to have softened and isnt too sore but my left is rock hard and my armpit all swollen.

I dont think it should last more than 36-48 hours if lo is feeding plenty.

Lasted 2 days for me... feed feed feed.... plenty of warm baths and massage your pit while feeding.

It lasted about a day in a half for me.
