my sons got a ENT appointment on friday.. as they say he is flat lined in his one ear. what do they do at first appointment?

Hi is it glue ear? If so, I think we had a hearing test to see if it affects hearing, then a chat with a consultant.
If it affects hearing and has for a while, grommets or a hearing aid could be a option.

I think it can vary from hospital and what the problem is. At DD's first appointment when she was about a month old they just entered her in the system, went over her condition, and made a plan for later. She just had her second ENT appointment with a different hospital and doctor, and they did a hearing test, then we met with the doctor and he went over her condition and let us know what additional tests he would like to do. He also went over options for correcting her hearing.
