Well I was hanging my clean laundry up to dry, and my 2 year old son was playing around in the washing basket, when he tripped out of it and split his chin right open on the wooden corner of my bed! I immediately drove him to a&e, there was blood everywhere, all over his face and clothes, and you could see bits of flesh hanging out of the wound! He had it glued together and then stitched up:( then we got home, and my hot water stopped working and my son desperately needed a bath to wash all the blood off him, I ended up wiping him down with wet wipes, poor child:( hot water started working after he went to bed though - typical! Just been to check up on him though and he's fast asleep, here's a pic of my poorly little lamb.

Just noticed we have the same due date! Sorry About your little guy!

Your poor baby; hope he has a really good sleep (and you too) and you both feel much better tomorrow.

Oh bless him :-(
It's horrible when they hurt themselves, but he looks nice and peaceful in bed with his teddy honey :flower:

Thanks girls! Yes yo_yo he absolutely adores his teddies, won't sleep with out them bless him, haha:haha:

I'm hoping I don't go overdue either! I've had many episodes of bleeding though, and my placenta is borderline for normal range to have a vaginal delivery. So if it doesn't move up, I have to have a scheduled c section :(

Im sorry about your lovebug. He looks like such an angel on the bright side though :flower:

oh no, :( I hate days like that. Just one thing after the other! And ofcourse our children having accidents and getting hurt or being sick is the worst :( Just a month ago my little babe had strep and it was one of those days too..hubby was working and my toddler was so sick with a high fever and puking everywhere, had to go to emerg to discover he had strep throat, and I never had time to clean the puke before I left because I was too worried about him, so I had to leave it until we got home. Which ofcourse by that point it was so stinky and it took forever to clean while caring for a sick child..those days are hard! But looks like your little guy is comfy and better now :)

Poor little guy! It's so hard to see them hurt, but amazing how resilient they are. My 11 month old DS got his finger slammed in the door last night by DD and when I saw it at first, I thought it was broken! But a half hour later, he was happily crawling around again. :flower:
