Has anyone ever heard of using the name Everett for a girl?

I haven't but I like it

Everly or just Ever sound more feminine but I like Everett for a girl too

It's a double standard, but i think any "unusual" boy names work for girls, but not the other way around. That said, it wouldn't work for more common boys names, like Stephan, Michael, james, etc.

So yes, I think it works :)

I haven't heard it before, but I like it for a girl.

I'm with the others, I haven't heard of it being used for a girl but I think it sounds good :)

I really like Everley for a girl, never thought of Everett for a girl before, but i actually quite like it 👍🏻

I agree... I wouldn't have thought of it, but think it is quite nice! I like strong names for girls. :flower: she could choose Evie or Eve as a nickname if she wanted something more feminine at any point?

Thanks everyone. I suggested it to my husband last night, as it was my grandfather's name and he loves it. I really like it too. We were thinking of using Eve or Evie as a nick name too!

I might be tempted to spell it Everette to fem it up a bit but I think it works either way. :) Evie is a great nn option.

I've never heard of Everett for a girl, but it does seem like a name that could make the cross to unisex. It's not my favourite trend though so I don't love this name for a girl, but I think it could work and "Ever" is kind of super cool for a nickname.
