Hello everyone!!
It's been sometime since I've been on here and I hope everyone is doing well.

Here's my topic/issue.
I never not bled after the baby.
I had my 6-8 week post partum bleeding. I had a period of a week or so that I didn't bleed but that is it.
I literally bleed, nearly every day.
Some days tiny clots, other days just red/brown spotting.

I've ruined every pair of panties I own.

I've invested in the menstrual cup bc buying tampons became too expensive.

I'm literally at a loss as to what the deal is. One of the perks of EBF is the amenorrhea associated with it, but I have been bleeding with no more than a 3-5 day break in sporting. She is going on 7 months now and still actively bleeding.

I ask mainly Bc, well, the hubby and I got a little drunk today and well...he and I had unprotected sex. *facepalm*.

So in addition to wondering if I'm alone on this whole bleeding thing, I was wondering if anyone got pregnant actively bleeding while breastfeeding.

To answer any questions;
- I've been EBF since she's been born.
-never supplemented
-rare use of paci's
-I went back to work when she was nearly 4mos old
-I pump 3-4x at work during a 12hr shift
-bf when I get home
-started her on foods at 4 months here and there, no real consistency
-sometimes there's no food in a day for her....

Thoughts??

Thanks in advance.

On the bleeding front:
Have you been checked for retained placental tissue?
Have you had a smear test since giving birth?
Any kind of bleeding that is unexpected should be investigated by a doctor, even if just to put your mind at rest. It could maybe be something like fibroids?

On the pregnancy front:
At 7months pp it is entirely possible to get pregnant, even if ebf. The fact that you pump rather than directly feed sometimes and have on occasion used pacifiers increases the chances statistically, but not necessarily actually increases the chances for you because it all depends what is happening hormonally for you atm with this bleeding.
