I'm not jealous, i swear., but it is frustrating and I cant seem to stop crying...I feel a little crazy but hopefully this is normal...

Pregnancy keeps happening around me and no matter how positive I am inside I'm screaming and crying. Don't hesitate to cry a bit for yourself. Remember being frustrated is normal. Anyone dealing with infertility would feel the same way.

yet another of my colleagues is off on maternity from today… I know how you feel, I also smile and pull in all my energy to express my best wishes and how happy I am for her and then go to the ladies and cry. I do not even know why, I do not care that much about her either way, it's just a reminder that around me life is going on as if nothing happened while my life is on hold. obviously I would prefer the entire world to TTC with me

Hey There Ladies!:flower:

I am feeling the same way! Everyone is pregnant, just when I think for a minute no one is pregnant, I find out 3-4 people are pregnant.

What is worse is I work for a Doctor's office and I find out first hand. We
are a PCP, so they normally come here first or call us to let us know. :dohh:

WTH!!!!!! I have been TTC since September 2010, I have not made an
appointment to see a RE, but I just called and left a message.
Something must be done !!!!

Hi everyone,

I feel the same way too. 5 people close to me are ALL pregnant, I know it sounds not real but believe it or not 5 people dear to me are all pregnant. (I think some of them planned to get pregnant at the same time - Obviously they wont count me in as I am the one with problems :-( so yeah)

It is hard, very hard I cried soo much when I found out they were pregnant, but no one knows my pain apart from those who are TTC.
X

You are definitely not alone. I always react with " oh that is so great , I am so happy for you " and then cry all night. I even lie. When people ask me about if DH and myself are planning on starting a family I always say I am not ready for children just yet . Then they leave me alone.

I feel the same. Two of my very good friends are pregnant (as well as a number of acquaintances). I haven't cried but feel sad all the time. Feel like I need a good cry! The worse thing for me is they are the only two people who know what's going on so now I feel I don't have anyone to talk to anymore.

Why does it all happen at once? Do you find you 'accuse' people of being pregnant all the time? Or is that just me?

I always try to jump the gun to guess that someone might be preg. I think I'm trying to prepare myself. Some ppl are so unexpected that now I watch everyone like a hawk. I've been right quite a few times... Unfortunately. I always bawl my eyes out as soon as I'm alone. I can't stand to be around preggos.

Bizzibii - Its true theres not really much that can be said to those that are pregnant especially considering how much we want a baby and I know what you mean of feeling to be be left alone.

Chickensoup85 - I know it sucks when the friends you chat to about journey of TTC, they then become pregnant and it makes it pretty awkward to continue telling them when they are excited when they are excited with their pregnancy life. Dont worry you still got us. Wer here to help you! Youl always have us to chat to. x

Pinkponey - Thats same with me. I always assume my sisters pregnant and I think that was because I wanted my heart to get used to it so that when she does become pregnant it doesnt break my heart... But after few years she did fall pregnant before me.. and I wasnt strong :-( I can not explain how I felt that day when she told me she was pregnant. That days pain was the hardest I have had so far. I am very happy for her as she is my sister and I am going to be a aunt for the first time but my heart is broken at same time because I have waited for so many years for a child whereas she wasnt even bothered to have a baby, in fact she first controlled for the first year. But hey what can we do? I know its tough and it really is painful but we gotta keep strong. One day will be our day! x

It's totally frustrating! Especially when I'm sure we would all make great parents. Admittedly, I am totally jealous of all the women that can get pregnant their first month trying. Because that's fair. ;)

Same with me hun. I've had a run through of dear friends who have had monthly births Aug (1), Sept (1), Nov (5) with announcements (scared of telling me) in Aug (1), Sept (1), Nov (1) plus another 6 friends being pregnant and this is all just from August. THEN having others telling me that they have had to abort (3 this year) is heartbreaking! Don't get me looking back before this please.... I am lost in myself! I want my own and I know this won't happen. It hurts being in a room with people constantly talking about babies or children and no one ever considers the things that I am going through (depression, infertility and suicidal thoughts) and when brought up that I went for an appointment the answer I usually get is 'oh I forgot about that'. Wish I had never begun to try as I was a far better person before this. Some may say it's only 4 years and I know others have been TTC longer but it is hard for us all. I don't know how everyone holds on and stays positive. I wish I was one of them people. Sorry for going off on one xx

Hi Missus_L,

Dont worry, I know its easy said then done. Iv been TTC for over 4 years and iv had some people say to me '4 years is nothing' but for me it feels like iv been ttc for soo many years. I feel so upset when I hear of other people pregnant especially when its someone you know well, but stress does nothing, so I just try to be positive as much as I can because stress doesnt help. Have hope that one day will be your special day, the day you find out you are pregnant and you will VALUE it, you see many people get pregnant but some of them dont care, someone get upset for being pregnant they dont value this precious gift - But you will! Your time will come soon. x

I'm on board with you..in the past year, I have helped with three "oops" pregnancies with friends all barely 18 with no job. They had no intention, next thing you know it they've got a baby and got married. Meanwhile we can't afford a marriage and have fertility issues. Nothing worse than wanting a bfp and you gotta comfort someone who is scared and thinking it ruined their life.

Our time will come, until then we gotta put fake smiles on because as the old saying goes "treat how you want to be treated" eventually it will be our turn to be the one with a big bump and a kid in our arms and I'm sure we will want people to be happy for us. Trust me it hurts, I've had my many cries over it..heck, my cousin got her 2nd bfp 2 months after giving birth and both babies were conceived after my DH and I started trying. Ended up getting smashed but one of those sad smashes. hang in there hun :hugs:

Hey girls, I know how you're feeling, one of my best friends gave birth 2 weeks ago, and another is due in a month, in my work in a dental surgery I see girls every day who are expecting and half of them aren't even that bothered about it. I cried my heart out over both when I found out my best friends were pregnant and couldn't stand to be around them at the same time. I couldn't help staring at their bellies and wonderIn what it would be like. Then i just felt like crap when I left them. It's only just bearable now, but what keeps me going is that maybe, just maybe, I will be in their position one day. And I don't want THEIR babies, I want mine and DH's baby, no-one else's. Keep positive girls, it might just happen, whether we need help or not. xo

could not sleep last night have been crying since yesterday, I am a very bad person but i cant help these negative self destroying thoughts, my DH's friend announced that his wife is pregnant with their third child! They started trying their first about a year before us and they are expecting their third... that was my plan but now I have doubts I will have any and as my FS informs me my time is running out. I have tried just about everything but with a male factor infertility it's just so much harder. I just keep asking why?? do not I and DH deserve to have children? nothing makes sense to me in this life,

sorry I just needed to get it out otherwise I will take it out on my DH and it wont be a good thing...

It's to the point where I can sniff out a pregnancy just by the vague things people will post on Facebook. A friend of mine mentioned she was going to the doctor--that's it, nothing specific or anything and I called it: pregnant and announced about three days later. Another girl won a car seat randomly (even she wasn't expecting it) at some women's only event. Then, a couple weeks later was her "bun in the oven!" announcement.

Last year when we started TTC and it was just starting to dawn on us that reproducing is not as easy as we thought, I said in a rather mean way that it would be friend "X," friend "Y," and my sister "Z" who'd get pregnant before us. Well, in February, friend "X" got pregnant while cheating on her spouse and I cried for 3 days straight. In May, friend "Y" announced pregnancy to me on Mother's Day (same day I got AF :(). Now, my sister is in a committed relationship and I pray she doesn't get pregnant. Not because she doesn't deserve it or anything, but because she's SOOO not in a position to care for a child and doesn't even want kids.

It's incredibly frustrating to see everyone get what we want so badly. And worse yet when all they do is complain about it. I don't think they know what I'd give to have morning sickness and stretch marks. Lol

Awwww miss_awesome, I know totally how you feel. Just recently one of my good friend gave birth. when my sister was in a relationship I too used to wish that she doesnt get pregnant before me because she can barely look after herself let alone someone else and on top of that she didnt even want a child. I never thought my sister would become pregnant before me, but she did (I cried soo much when I found out, Dont get me wrong I am happy for her and sad that Iv been waiting for verrrrryyy long time and still no baby)

My sister is now due within a month, and as much as I may be happy for her I am also really dreadin it of how Im going to take it especially with family getting all excited. Iv waited for so many years, I have few problems and having a baby is so far for me. Fingers crossed though. x
