I need this!!
But where can I get it in the US?
It seems like an absolute miracle. My little girl hasn't been settling in her bassinet the last few days and will only fall asleep in my arms and as soon as I put her down she will start fussing.
I have an app on my phone that plays white noise. It's been on for the last ten minutes and seems to be working for my little girl, but 1.) I don't like it draining my battery, and 2.) I don't like the idea of having my phone plugged in for too long, I don't want it to overheat with the white noise going.

I've read up on Ewan and I've decided that I just need him.

Has anyone on here had experience with him? Does it work as well as it says?

We didnt do the dream sheep, we did this: https://www.target.com/p/homedics-s...on-machine/-/A-10707864#?lnk=sc_qi_detaillink

Buy it online, it varies from 29-39.99 in the store! We still use it to this day to drown out our house noises, like doing dishes or tv after her bedtime. We also use it as a bedtime cue. She knows it's bedtime when the rain sounds (it sounds like static though, like white noise) come on. It's perfect, no batteries to deal with, and can do the heart beat sound too for tiny newborns. It also has a projector with little discs that you can put on the ceiling if you want, but we only do that for playtimes and when she is cranky- it gets her a little too stimulated.

I have heard good things about this.

No experience with Ewan but if you really want one you can buy on Amazon for $50 (looks like they are in te UK but will ship to the u.s,) They cost 26 pounds here which is $40 so they aren't marking it up as $8.95 of the $50 is for shipping.

Is it the same as the sleepy sheep they sell here in the US? Do you have an ipod? I downloaded white noise on my ipod and bought a cheap alarm clock player. I put the white noise on loop and I play it all night now . It helps me sleep through LO's breathing and squirming (she sleeps in a pack and play right next to me) It's much louder than sleepy sheep, but I have no experience with ewan. Maybe ebay?

Ewan the dream sheep wasn't loud enough for our LO, he prefers the app.

yes we have ewan and used him for the first time last night. LO has got into the habit of waking at 4am and fussing till 6am, we put ewan in crib and he went back to sleep at 4 and stayed asleep!!! so yes i would def recommend and also helped me drift back to sleep..it is really lovely x

I must be the only one that Ewan doesn't work for!

Well, even if my LO doesn't like it, I do :haha:

Wishing_well,, I cant beleive your LO is 2 mnths old already! I remember looking out for your 'this is it' and it does not seem that long ago !

would ewan work for babies who are already a few weeks old or would u need to use it from birth?

Ive tried a white noise app on my phone but not sure that it really works.. I think Jessica is a little colicy as she starts crying around 7pm at night and is unsettled for a few hours... if this worked it would be great ! Lol she also sometimes wont go back down after her feed during the night,. she will be wide awake! might have to give ewan a try!

I know! She's growing way too fast! :(

I think Ewan would work when they're a couple a weeks old.
Quinn used to settle to the sound of rain (an app on my phone) but Ewan doesn't have much of an effect on her.
Maybe I'll try again next week when she's hopefully finished her wonder week and will sleep better!

We have the US Sleep sheep (seems to be the same as Euan/Ewan), which was sent by my parents to my LO and have been using since LO was 2 wks old -- I haven't had to replace the batteries once (he's now 4 1/2 months old) -- We also have the Prince Lionheart and my LO doesn't really like and the batteries have had to be replaced twice!

I recommend the sleep sheep so much! The white noise lasts either 23 or 45 minutes and it is perfect for us......

best wishes

Hum.... Willow is 7 weeks old now... Is it worth getting a dream sheep? or should it be used from birth xxx

the prince lionheart bear isnt great - i'd avoid, i'm taking mine back. it's only on for 5 mins at a time and is meant to turn back on at sound/movement but doesn't. Think i'm gonna go for euan instead.

just an aside for those of you doing phone apps - i had no idea and had used myself, but it's best not to put phones close to young babies due to the waves that they give off, even when not making calls

I'll look into the sleep sheep! It looks a little cuter anyway. :D
Does it not have a little night light though?

i've just ordered a ewan  hope he arrives soon and actually works!
