Do you use it and it is successful? I was thinking about buying one but they are expensive so wondered it you think it is worth it?

Both my boys have one and have had them since day 1

DS1 is 4 in April and still sleeps with his now so has been well used!

The only down side I would say is that they eat batteries!

Agreed! Worth it but buy plenty of batteries!

Brilliant when my son was a newborn but by the time he was about 2.5 months he preferred his light projector. Look around for deals of you get one I saw them fir £10 in Argos a few months ago.

I ordered one last night for our newborn who is struggling to settle himself off if hes overtired, we pick it up on Monday ☺

Worked brilliantly for DD1 but not so much for DD2 however she seems to be able to settle herself quite well. They definitely eat batteries but luckily my second one doesn't give out the high pitched noise that my first one did when the batteries had died!

Strangely enough, im lying next to LO with my head on Ewan....its sounding creepy because the batteries are going though.

We were given ours at my baby shower. We used it when he was newborn and he slept amazingly well....yet I didn't think of the sheep and we stopped using it when batteries died.

I complained to a friend that it takes forever to get him to sleep and she assumed ewan wasn't working but seeing as she mentioned it I realised I hadn't been using it.

.....getting to the point....I was like a mad woman hunting down our ewan and it's now a vital part of bedtime, even gets us to sleep!

(Ewan has just died but LO didn't notice...phew!!)

Thanks ladies. Well I bought one in the end and the first day or two I thought this isn't working it's not all it is hyped up to be but after using it for a few weeks I have changed my mind, it certainly helps calm my baby down and settle much more quickly than without him. I don't use the light just the rainfall/heartbeat sound just now but I really do like it and worth the money I would say if you are considering buying it :)

Ewan has well and truly failed with us. My daughter isn't soothed by him in the slightest. Waste of 30 quid!
