EWCM and O?

Hi all,

I have EWCM this morning, properly stretchy - approx 3". But I'm only on day 8 of my cycle and normally ovulate (according to my BBT) on day 14 of a 26-27 day cycle. What's going on? Cervix is high and wet but fairly firm and I can't tell if it's open or not - I read that vaginal birth can make it feel more open all the time than it would otherwise be and my only other experience with checking it is pre-LO.

I think I read somewhere that you should go mostly by your CM and not so much by your cervix so if it's fertile CM, consider yourself fertile. Probably to be on the safe side since I think the cervix is a less reliable fertility indicator than your CM. At least that's what i think the article said.

I'd start BDing just in case

You can still get ewcm during your fertile window so consider this your fertile window and get to bding. You might be ovulating early as well. Good luck.
