EWCM but no + OPK??

do I go by my EWCM or - OPK??? this is so confusing! lol

Keep testing. twice a day with OPK. Try to limit fluid in the time and hold urine for at least 2 hours ideally 4. I grt EWCM for around 4 days before ovulation but you are fertile when you have EWCM so get bding. Sperm can live in it for upto 5 days.

thanks hun, this is my first month charting all this stuff . . . I think I've scared myself by looking up CM after OV . . . I'm worried I've missed my window, chances are that I haven't because I'm only CD 14 today and before BCP my cycles were 36 days usually!
I've not even had faint line on OPK's though, which is what is confusing me! lol I've been testing twice a day (apart from yesterday because I wasn't in) fortunately we BDed last night so FX'ed I haven't missed my window!

How long have you been off BCP? My cycles were messed up post BCP. Last cycle I O'd CD27, cycle before CD19. EWCM is a good sign. I suspect your OPKs will get darker in the next few days. I don't think you've missed your window. Have you heard of Sperm Meets Egg Plan (SMEP) Basically bd EO day from CD8, start OPKs CD10, continue BDing EO day until +OPK, bd that day and following 2 days, miss a day then bd one more time.

I think I said in another trend but if you find you are Oing late with a shortish LP, then I suggest B complex (50-100mg) and possibly Vitex.

I've been off BCP since mid September, so this is my first official cycle really! Think thats why I'm freaking out so much, I want to know that I have started ovulating again, then I'll calm down a bit I think!

Yeah I've heard of the SMEP plan, think I'm gonna try it next month, if no luck with this month! I only found it yesterday though so I'm still gonna BD every other day til + OPK . . . the likely hood of me missing OV with OPK's isn't very high is it? even if I only tested once? chances are I'd get a faint line really . . . but mine have been stark white, I think thats the only thing reassureing me atm! lol
I've just started taking B complex and contemplating Vitex soon if i don't OV in the next week!!

Most ladies get a slight fade it so you should get notice. I have a short surge so when I notice mine get darker I test twice a day. My first proper cycle off BCP was 58days and I went through every symptom of pregnancy.

You may have a long wait but don't panic. You'll prob ovulate at some point. EWCM is a great sign. Though it may come and go.

Are you checking CP too? It's a little more difficult but I find it more reliable than CM.

ugh okay thanks hun, hopefully I don't have too long to wait! I waited 53 days after my withdrawal bleed . . . hopefully this cycle will be a little bit shorter! I guess I'll just have to be patient . . . not that I'm a patient person! haha

nope I'm not monitoring CP because I'm quite sure how too . . . :/

Oh I thought this was your first cycle post withdrawal bleed. IN which case hopefully you wont have to wait too long. My second cycle was 36days.

Here's a link for checking your cervix. Fertile is when it is Soft, High, Open and Wet. SHOW.

Sometimes I get ewcm a week or two before I actually ov. It's normal. You can't go by cm to pinpoint ov because it changes so much throughout your cycle. You can even get ewcm throughout the tww and creamy cm before ov! It's crazy lol xx

yeh I don't think I'm going to be able to go by CM, I duno . . . I just don't feel right about it, like sometimes I don't have enough then others I have loads I really do change from cycle to cycle tbh!!
