Has anyone had this before?

I usually have 4-5 days of it, but this is my first cycle since taking an antibiotic to kill an infection in my tubes and now I am on the 10th day of ewcm.

It shouldn't matter because I cannot get pg ever due to my tubes - but I am worried because prior to this for the last 3 years my body was perfectly regular, I could predict every single day - I am worried now that my body is starting to do something different.

Has anyone had 10 days of ewcm and know why?

Thanks.

Hey Blue
I haven't had this but had a thought.
Perhaps the mucus is moving the infection out of the body (the way snot does).

I would say that the antibiotic could be the trigger of this. I've had it but under different circumstances. When I came off the contraceptive pill I had quite a large amount. Was so much it was almost jelly like (sorry... hope that's not TMI). It really freaked me out, so much of it and like yourself lasted for days. Wait few days after you've finished antibiotics to get it out of your system and see if it clears up. If not give your health centre a call, maybe they could explain. Hope infection clears up XX:hugs:

Sounds like a good theory to me. Hope it stops soon. xx

Hi blue12 . taking antibiotics upsets the ph balance in the body. They usually give you discharge- or thrush. You need to take probiotics to get rid of it.

hope that helps.
