EWCM on CD29!!!????

AF is due today and i have noticed that i have some ewcm again! I have no signs of AF turning up at the moment but am confused about this cm as i never get it before hand. I am pretty sure i OV'd around CD15-17 due to having the ewcm & mild cramps then. Does this mean i am Ov'ing again or could it be a new sign of AF?

Thanks for the replies, I have tested but getting a I might try a different test as i am using the super cheapie internet ones and not sure how reliable they are.. Any other opinions are welcome as i am going insane here lol. Thanks again.

I'd also heard that ewcm around the time of af being due is a sign of pregnancy!! Good luck!!
I've been testing with those ebay super cheap tests too and keep getting BFNs and I'm on CD 31 with no sign of af coming!!! (normally I have a 27 day cycle!!) Did try with a fr one this afternoon but that was a BFN as well so will try the other one tomorrow or Monday morning!

"Why do I have eggwhite cervical fluid after I have already ovulated?

Some cervical fluid after ovulation is possible because the corpus luteum, though its main function is to produce progesterone, produces estrogen in small amounts. This may cause you to see some fertile-looking cervical fluid, even after ovulation.

If your temperatures and other signs show clearly that you have already ovulated, then you can be confident that you are no longer fertile. It is also not uncommon to confuse semen and eggwhite or watery cervical fluid. Some women also notice some fertile-looking cervical fluid just before menstruation.

However, if your chart does not show clearly that you have already ovulated (with a clear and sustained thermal shift) do not stop having intercourse. Keep on considering the possibility that you are still fertile as long as you see fertile cervical fluid to make sure you don't miss a chance to conceive. "

My doctor told me it was sometimes to do with the balance of progesterone and estrogen, that, when the progesterone begins to deplete and the oestrogen increases then the CM turns from creamy to eggwhite.

It can mean the hormonal fluctuation that happens just before your body tells you to start your period. But, some women say they had it when they were pregnant.

Not very helpful, really.

Thanks girls I still seem to have ewcm in small amounts today and no sign of AF, I tested this morning and got a bfn so still non the wiser. The thing is i feel awfull at the moment and am so so tired(i fell asleep for 3 hours today) plus my bb's are looking like a road map of the m25 and they are so pert i could give Jordan a run for her money Gosh its all so confusing
