I had sex yesterday morning and this is the cm i had last night (attachment included).

It was white, not clear and it has gone back to cloudy now and I had no positive opk (i was testing at 2 pm daily), but it stretched to 4 inches.

It was really jelly-like, i placed it on normal paper and it was possible for me to scoop it back up (sorry tmi)

My periods are irregular between 20-35 days and im on CD 9 today.

Does it sound like EWCM or leftover semen, please check out the pic?

thanks!

I would say EWCM as semen doesn't tend to stretch like that. I found a great article on it when I had the same question https://www.justmommies.com/getting-pregnant/fertility-charting-ovulation-and-prediction/ewcm-egg-white-cervical-mucous-or-semen

I've been searching on the Internet, does female ejaculate look like that too? Because I did orgasm yesterday, and I do release fluids when I come?

I'm not sure hon but I'd guess ours would be more fluidy than stretchy? At least it sounds like you're having fun! :winkwink:

In the article it mentions leaving it on toilet roll for a few minutes- if it's semen it will soak in but if it's EWCM then it won't

I've also read that if you can stretch it a few times then it's EWCM and not semen as semen doesn't stretch beyond the first attempt.

I think you're safe to assume that's EWCM esp. if you BD in the morning and that's from the evening.

Yeah I figured it wasn't semen now, but could it have been from my orgasm?

Via wikipedia

"Female ejaculation, refers to the expulsion of fluid by human females from the paraurethral ducts through and around the urethra during or before an orgasm."

I only quote it because I wanted to double check my biology knowledge.

I'm assuming you've got EWCM since FE doesn't come from the same place ;)

Look what I found when poking around on the Q&A of Fertility Friend:

When I check my cervical fluid before having sex it usually feels slippery. Should I record "eggwhite"?

Arousal fluid feels a lot like fertile cervical fluid but is secreted by your vagina, while cervical fluid is produced by your cervix. Both feel wet and slippery and both help to make intercourse more pleasurable and comfortable. Arousal fluid, unlike fertile cervical fluid, may be felt at any time during your cycle when you feel sexually stimulated. It may also be felt for up to several hours after any kind of sexually arousing activity. If you are checking your cervical fluid before having intercourse when you are already aroused, it will usually feel slippery and it may be hard to tell the difference between the two kinds of fluids. Though the fluids feel similar, arousal fluid usually feels slightly more watery and will not usually stretch much. To avoid confusion, it is recommended to check your cervical fluid when you are not feeling particularly aroused.

hope that helps too.

So even though I've had no positive opk and it went to creamy cm the day after, was this EWCM and have I ovulated?
