I am not stopping him from seeing her, he can come visit any time he likes.
His family is also welcome, whenever, my door is open.

But I am stopping him from taking her for the weekend to his Mums house.
Am I in the wrong? Legally I mean, not morally. I realise I should probably let him.. But I have my reasons.
I just want to know legally whether he has a right to take her, when I'm not stopping him from seeing her?

EDIT: Just to add, I'm not stopping her from going to his Mums ALL the time, but he works away so he just comes strolling back like THIS WEEKEND I'M TAKING HER, but we have plans, and he thinks I should cancel the plans to fit his schedule??

Can anyone shed any light?

No its not wrong at all!!
I know here in the US if you werent married and split from the FOB the mother has soul custody of the baby and has all the rights. Until they are changed by the court or mother is found to be unfit
Like if FOB weren't to bring Gracelynn back when she was supossed to be home or take off with her he could go to jail for kidnapping,
If you have plans you can say hey look I have plans already you can't just pop in and take her.
Hope I helped!
PM me if u ever need anyone to talk to :flower:

Im in the same boat as you except that his mother has physically beat FOB. We are no longer together and he has filed for a paternity test. I don't want Isabella over night at his house solely because of his mother. I don't mind if he has visitation rights just not to take her overnight.

Nope he doesn't legally have the rights to take her. The only way it would be illegal for you not to let him is if it had all gone to court and you had a proper contact order stating he has her such an such day and u stopped it x
