Hey there,

Weaning can be a bit tricky sometimes; we get stuck too! Oooh, so my LO isn't the only one that has a sweet tooth! lol I find fruit often gives her food a nice sweet taste and it's got the added benefit of being good for her too.

Today for example she had guinea fowl (5-7 tbsp of it) with veg (3-4 asparagus/ one onion/3-4 cloves of garlic/1 beef tomato/2-3 very small potatoes) sizzled in olive oil and then mixed with a little bit of water and to that I added bits of peach that I also cooked. It may sound pretty weird but it was actually really tasty!

Hope that helps a little bit!

We bought one of Annabel Karmel's books which was really helpful.
Sweet potato and broccoli,
Sweet potato, carrots and parsnip
Swede, carrots and peas,
Potato, carrot and sweetcorn (a big hit!!)
Avocado and banana,

Gets much more interesting when you start introducing meats and cheese etc.

Lucas also LOVES this soup (and so do I, had to make more for us :haha:)
1 onion,
2 carrots,
100g butternut squash,
100g sweet potato.
2 sticks of celery,
50ml water,
100g red lentils
700ml veg stock (salt content is something to watch)

Heat about 2 tbsp of olive oil, chuck in all the veg along with the water, cover and cook for 15/20 mins (obviously stir occasionally). When it's all soft add the lentils and stock and simmer for another 15 mins. Blitz the lot and portion out - should make about 6 baby portions. Seriously yummy! lol x
