Hi ladies,
I will be having my 2nd baby in October and will be having another C-section.
My question is, is there any medical benefit of prenatal exercises for those of us that know we're having a section? I read all this stuff about how this or that exercise is great for building certain muscles for strength to push your baby out, build your stamina, breathing techniques for labor, etc. but what about us? Is there any proof or theory that our recovery will be easier/faster if we've done some of these prenatal workouts? (And if so, what workouts are best?) I'm not big into working out, but I'd like to start doing a little bit just to stay in shape as to not gain a ton of weight. But just curious if there are any other benefits for us C-section ladies, and if so, what they are so I can focus on those areas. I hope that makes sense.
Thanks!
