I got a clearblue digital smiley on cycle day 7 and 8, 2 and 3 days after my period officially stopped. Isn't this strange? I don't have regular periods, I sometimes go months with no periods. I had a miscarriage end of July this year, i got my period October 8th, then again November 28. then i got the smiley December 5th, my basal temp was 96.9... didn't notice any egg white CM though. Then December 6th another smiley, did have some white cm drip down when i was going to the bathroom (i know, sorry for the tmi) and that morning my temp was 97.7.... December 7th, no more smiley, temp was 97.1 and stayed 97.1 for 3 days with no more smileys, then on the 11 my basal dropped to 96.9 no smiley, and today my temp was 96.8 with no smiley. DID I OVULATE??? help!!!!????

Do you temp on a chart/app? I find it hard to tell if I can't look at an actual chart. If you did ovulate your temps should have stayed elevated, but it seem they are back down to your baseline now. To me it sounds as if your body maybe geared up to ovulate but in the end you didn't.

heres my chart... <a href="https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/40e81b/" style="font-size:smaller;" >

Great, thanks!

Just had a look at it, and to me it doesn't look like you ovulated since your temps dropped again right away. Since you said that you don't have regular cycles - have you ever been checked out by a doc? I've seen many charts of ladies who have PCOS who get several positive OPKs throughout their cycles.
To me it looks like your body maybe geared up to ovulate, but then didn't (think I said that in my last post already)

Is this your first chart or do you sometimes have this type of pattern?

this is my first chart. I don't have pcos, I thought I did, but they did an ultrasound and did not find anything sufficient enough to diagnose me with pcos. I don't know what my deal is. My chart might be a little off because when i woke up i turned the thermometer on and put it straight in my mouth instead of waiting a few seconds fort it to restart from the day before... i don't know. :(

Hmmmm, that's really strange. Your temps definitely do not line up with the OPK at all, I don't think the thermometer was an issue...
Do you check other fertility signs, such as CM, ovulation pain etc? And how long are your cycles (I guess you said they are always different...)? An ovulation on CD9 would make your cycle super short, but I'm still pretty sure that you didn't actually ovulate. Just keep charting and see how things go. Maybe it's just an exception this cycle....

I'm sorry that this is so confusing :hugs::hugs: I hope things will get clearer for you soon. I still think you should keep temping and doing OPKs, as I believe you'll ovulate later in your cycle.

I have extremely irregular cycles. heres a little background story. I got my first period at 12, i always had irregular cycles, but i would usually get at least one period every month, or every other month, but NEVER exactly however many days apart, like most women get theirs every 28 days, or 32 days or whatever... mine have never been like that. When I turned 18 in June of 2006, I met a guy, wound up pregnant in July of 2006, gave birth in April... had two periods between April of 2007 and September 2007, found out I was pregnant in September of 2007, gave birth in may 2008, went on implanon ... had no periods. Got the implanon taken out in September 2009, I donated 20 eggs in september, didn't have any periods after that procedure until April 2010. No periods after that and then I found out I was pregnant in the very end of june 2010, had a miscarriage in July of 2010, never had a period until march 8th of 2011, found out i was pregnant April 29th of 2011, gave birth January 3rd 2012... had my period in febuary, then another one I believe (very short pathetic period) in april, then nothing in may, found out i was pregnant June 1st of 2012, lost that baby in mid-end july 2012, got my first period since that miscarriage back on October 8th, got my next period November 28, and that brings me current.

I know thats alot of info lol. I've gotten pregnant before, I have had 5 pregnancies, 3 children and two miscarriages. But I never planned any of those. Now that I'm actually planning mine and my husband's last child, I'm trying to learn my body, and I'm realizing its whacky. all I have learned so far is that July is not my month.except in the case of my eldest, I got pregnant in july of 2006 and carried her to term, but my two miscarriages were both in July also. I'm on an herbal supplement called menstrual reg, trying to see if I can get some consistency. Thank you for your help, I SUPER appreciate you responding, I'm so sad that my body wont function properly, and I just don't get why. I'm not over weight, i'm not under weight, I'm 5"7 and 129 pounds. I don't have pcos... I'm pretty healthy for the most part.. I don't get it.

Oh, and I don't know how reliable cm is for me, because I'm (tmi) "wet" often. like when I'm walking around throughout the day my underwear always feel wet and it makes me nervous so i go into and check all the time to make sure a period hasn't started or something, this is most of the time... Of course i have a few dry days here and there, but its never like, 5 days in a row dry, 3 days in a row watery, 4 days sticky...etc, mine is like: wet today, dry tomarrow, sticky the next day, dry the next, creamy the next after that, etc.

Wow, that is really irregular. Since you know that you don't have PCOS, did your doc give you any suggestions as to what could cause your irregular cycles? Getting many positive OPKs and having fertile CM several times during your cycle is really indicative that your hormones are out of whack. Although it can't be anything serious as you did get pregnant several times...

To be honest, I also had crazy cycles for a long time (I guess until my mid 20s or so), but since I didn't want to be pregnant at the time I never really cared or had myself checked out.

No problem I like looking at charts, lol :hugs: Just keep charting, maybe there will be some sort of pattern after a while...

I got another smiley today... weird right? and my fertility friend chart updated to this...

Do you think your OPKs might be off (like a bad batch or something)?? Your chart actually looks good temp-wise, and CD14 as ovulation day would be great. Hmmm.

I don't know... they are the clearblue digital...they were negative from the 7th, til today, when it was positive...
