I had an internal examination on monday to check that I have no infections as I'm getting the mirena coil fitted in a few weeks. I was told I have a bladder prolapse. The doctor said she would fit a band a month after the coil to help hold everything in place (eventually I will need surgery).
Ever since she examined me I haven't felt right. This morning whilst on the toilet I felt my bladder shift and when I reached down it was right at the entrance of my vagina. I felt like I had a ball between my legs and couldn't pee because of the pressure. I laid down for a while and my bladder seems to have shifted a bit as I don't feel full anymore and I can pee (but I really just have to sit and wait for it to come). I am worried to pass a bowel movement (as that's how my bladder shifted This morning). Is it worth me waiting like my doctor said or should I go and get the band fitted now? I feel like I would be wasting the doctors time.
