Ex's birthday-what do I get him from the children?

Can i just point out that dd made him a lovely handmade card from nursery the other week-he then had the nerve to ring me up and ask why I hadn't bought him anything from the children. Tempted to get him f*** all tbh! But then it's not from me iykwim? Thinking about taking dc's to hardware shop and letting them choose or is that too much/send him the wrong message? Fairydreams

Depends a lot on your relationship?? does he pay/see the kids regularly?? are you amicable? how ol are the kids.

The way I feel right now it wil be a cold day in hell before I spend any money getting FOB a gift! For fathers day I bought a chocolate cake - 3/4 were mine

This is probably a different situation, but when I was little and my mum and dad weren't together, my nan (dads mum) would always get us something to give him on his birthday. Mum never did. I never really thought mum would have to do that

Just lost a whole post! He didn't even get a card in the end, the drink i'd brought myself leaked all over the bag with the card in, i'm thinking it was karma working! Hehe. Sorry haven't been around much, dd ended up being rushed to the hospital and i had no choice but to ask him to look after his own child! (ds) whilst i stayed in with her. She's out and much better now, but he's acting like i owe him something for his troubles. Excuse me whilst i look for a f*** to give! Fairydreams
