Hey ladies, had my Er follow up this morning to get some bad news. My cervix is extremely low, which I found out last night. You can see and feel it, it's literally right there, my external cervix is opened and I am still losing weight quickly.
I saw a midwife I don't ever see so she isn't too familiar with my history. She informed me that she was not that concerned. Of course I am! I see my normal midwife on the 18th.
Forgot to mention that before this happened, my normal OB had already sent a referral in for me, at UCSF, for high risk OB to look at me and baby and to start a plan. Hoping that my appointment is sooner now that this happened.
I have a history of pprom and going into preterm labor. I have never had a low or opened cervix this early though. I guess I would love some advice or success stories.
