Hello,
I recently started an IUI which got converted into IVF due to too many follicles. Had 6 eggs, all mature and 3 fertilised. Had 2 very good quality 3d embies transferred, one good blastocyst in the freezer. My period started to show on mothers day, despite progesterone support. Big fat negative with test, now AF in full.

I and DH are very upset and disappointed, we were lead to believe our chances were very good and they were v worried we would have twins - so really would like to hear some happy stories of it working after failure, plus any tips would be fab :flower:

so sorry! I know how sad it is. :cry:We just had a failed cycle too so I know very much how you feel! We had 3 put in and none of them made it. :nope:We also have one frozen.
But you want success stories! Our very first try in 2002 was a success and We now have an awesome 7 year old boy! :thumbup:So I have proof that it does work!
Our next and last round will be near the end of this month. We are opting to go fresh one more time since I was told there was only like 25% chance of my FET working, plus the cost is not much more. (we are self pay)
oh, and please check out the thread regarding failed ivf, if you haven't already. There is tons of support there too!
As for tips, I can tell you to give yourself some time to get a bit back to normal. This is a grieving process. Sometimes, they don't know why, it just doesn't hold. I figure though on the second try, go into it thinking that most people have success 1 out of 2 total trys right? So the next one HAS to work. Almost like your odds went up, in a weird way. If/when you are ready, you will go back at it stronger. Just give it some time, it will get better, promise.:hugs:

In 2007 we had our first IVF. I don't remember all the details, just that 2 day 5 blastocyst were put back and 2 day 6 blastocysts were frozen. It failed.

I didn't want to do FET with only 2, just too afraid that 2 is too low for FET. So we did a second round of IVF. 2 day 5 day blastocyst were put back and no frosties from that cycle.

It worked! :cloud9:We have 3 year old twins as a result. We are getting ready to start Lupron on April 20th to try with my 2 frosties. If it doesn't work, we'll be happy with our family as is. BUT I'm praying that it works!!!

thanks! And fingers crossed we all get out BFP this time xxx

You are giving me hope!! I am about to start my 2nd try and like you we had 1 frosty but didn't like the odds :nope: so we are going to do a fresh once again. Last try. I so hope it works for us too, just like it did for you!
Goodluck on your FET!!!:hugs:

Our first attempt resulted in a bfn and our second attempt worked!!!

:dust:

Our first attempt also failed. We had cycle 2 in March this year, and thank God, it worked out!

Hi, my 1st and 2nd ICSI attempt failed but the 3rd time we got our BFP. Our little son is now 6 weeks old. Hang in there :)

Thanks to everyone who has posted their successess, I have had a lovely holiday down in Devon and feel more positive! xxxx
