Ok, so I've been reading many many posts about this - I'd like some opinions about my own situation..I am new here, so if this is the wrong place to post this question, lemme know!

I took an Answer HPT on Tuesday am with first morning urine. Laid it on the counter and took a quick shower. Time I got out there was a VERY faint line. Its pinkish, not shadowy or grey and in the right place. I even brought it to work to have a friend take a look and tell me Im not imagining it! haha!
She saw it too!

Then Wednesday around 11 am I took a First Response test and it did the very same thing within 5 minutes or so...I was really hoping for slightly darker pink line, but its about the same.

This a.m. I took a cheapy $1 brand EPT and it was clearly negative. I am hoping that this morning didnt detect just because its not as sensitive and I need to wait another couple days and try again with Answer or First Response. I am trying to conceive. I had a normal period that started June 7and I have yet to start again. My husband and I had PLENTY of unprotected fun so I am really hoping these tests are faint positives and NOT likely 2 in a row with evap lines. They are both pinkish and both came up within 5 to 10 minutes...not HOURS after I tested. My cycle has not been very regular in the past 6 months or so. I thought I would start around July5th but maybe I am not actually 4 days late yet?

I am DRIVING myself nuts! hahaha! All advice welcome!

Hi Mama4, would you be able to post a piccie and we can have a look for you?

No, Im sorry I cant! I've tried but I dont have a very good camera!!! I have looked at some pics online and my tests look similar to other faint positives I've found. But I cant find a really good pic of what an evaporation line actually looks like to compare them to that..

I've had 4 children, but the last one was 6 years ago...so this all feels so new to me again..I know I am just thinking myself to death - but I cant seem to stop! :)

Thanks for checking on me though!! Your profile pic is precious!!

Ah thanks hun. Dont worry I think I can help a little.

Try this link www.peeonastick.com and then go to the hpt section there is a section on evaps. If this is no good hun try this one www.twoweekwait.com again you will see some evaps on there.

let me know if I can help anymore. Fxxxxx for you

I'd like to be a little more specific with my question-
I guess I am asking if others have had experience with evap lines?
I wonder if others have gotten evap lines within minutes after testing...
Does anyone think its likely to get two faint lines a day apart and have them both be evap lines? In my four pregnanies in the past this has never come up. My lines were always dark or there was just nothing at all.

Thanks again everyone!

Thanks for the links Worrisome!!! I think we cross posted there! haha!

Ah sorry, Ok I had some internet cheap hpt and I was getting very convincing lines but seems they are probably evaps. Cant be sure as not had af yet lol. But tested straight after with fre and bfn. They were pink, one was even blue (weird) but all before the time was up.
I have also seen some astonishing evaps on here also. It is rare though to have evaps on a few though. Perhaps you ov later than you think and you are catching a very early bfp.

I am really hoping thats the case....Its all so confusing! :) Some pictures I see online look just like mine and they were positive...and then i've seen a few that look more positive than mine and it says they were just evap lines..
Nuts!

I wish you the best of luck!!!!!!!!! And thanks for helping to calm my nerves a little, it helps to know I am not the only mom out there going through this agonizing wait! I still have no AF either...so I suppose time will tell for both of us!

:af:
