false labour??

So for weeks and weeks ive been having bh! Nothing regular and not painful, then yesterday at 130pm.i started having regular contractions every 3/4 Minutes lasting 50 seconds to start with, gradually they increased became more regular 2/3 minutes and lasting 110/120seconds, but still bearable at home, so I decide to try sleep, contractions keep coming and they wake me up and I dose inbetween....then this morning NOTHING! I have a sweep in two hours in 38+1 so not all that hopeful its gunna work, anyone else similar experiences did it turn into labour labour, or nothing? Xxx

I think it could easily be early active labour, with my second my contractions were completely painless but they kept me in the hospital and said since I had already started, they could break my water so I could keep progressing (I was around a 4 when they broke my water) I think for some women (atleast it seems true in my case) they stop progressing because their body might need that extra push to help them along so with that being said I think the sweep might very well indeed help you.
