hey i remember you saying your daughter has a nintendo ds.. how old was she when you bought it for her?

:flower:

im not kay....lol obv

But jack got one for his 3rd birthday, and he picked it up so quick, and its been a godsend! Well worth its money x

exactly the answer i was looking for! :cloud9: MIL wants to get Rhys one for his 3rd birthday in December..

we've had guests this weekend and both their kids have ds', Rhys has been a bit obsessed with playing on them!

my eldest is getting 1 for xmas and he will be 7. i said no for the past 2 yrs as he wasnt old enough. my neighbours son got 1 at 4 and was forever asking for help as he didnt understand, know what he was doing etc. plus the size of the screen i didnt think it a good idea as i dont want his sight affected.

Did he ask for one? I'd love to say I wouldn't buy Caitlyn one at 3 but I probably would if she asked for it

I was wondering if I could get Jack one but I am not sure if he will understand it just yet, not sure though

:hi:

I wanted to at 3 but my friend got her one for her 4th birthday! They really are amazing and worth getting! The games for there age teach them so much! She has learnt to add numbers and knows a few times tables! I recommend ' I did it mum' :)

She also has learnt to write as they have a spelling one too and you copy the writing on the pad with the pen :)

Sounds good Kay I might have to get Jack one for xmas :D

no he didnt ask for one.. and it wasnt me who wanted to get him one.. my MIL asked if she could. if it was up to me i wouldnt have got him one till he was older.

My ds has used my mums for abour a year so just after he was 3. He plays the games better than we do!

both my kids have one. Ruby can only play a few games atm but shes got the hang of it. Matthew is a whizz on it lol.x

I have been swaying between this and the Leap Frog one, Chloe was 3 in August, I dont want to pay £50 for the LF one for her and it not be great when the DS is only £99. She has played with my Grans alot, might just get it now, I think x
