The greenkids nappies...would you recommend the "funtimes" ones? I'm a little put off by their implication that they aren't overly absorbent.

You buy the inserts seperately. I dont use GK inserts because I dont have any! I use P'tits Dessous inserts or BB inserts in them and they work brilliantly.

I bought the new flames one tonight so could let you know how absorbant it is! I didnt buy inserts and just plan on using one of mine ( i have too many inserts!!)

It will be as absorbent as whatever inserts you use

Just the way it was phrased on the website made me wonder if there was something about the material the outer was made from that meant you couldn't leave it on longer than "x" amount of time xx

cotton may wick, it does for some people not for others, I find cotton doesnt wick but I use very absorbent bamboo inserts. youd probably not want to leave them on whilst you went out for 5/6 hours
