Farting Baby

My baby farts a lot...when he eats,when he sleeps,when he burps! It doesnt seem to cause him any discomfort but I was wondering if this is normal? I have been careful about what I eat as I am breastfeeding.

Completely normal! I'm breastfeeding and Sam farts, whatever I eat. Even asked the midwife if it was normal when he was a couple of weeks old and she said that it's nothing to worry about and all babies fart lots! x

Mine is quite the little farter as well. My DH just laughs at how loud some of his farts can be.

My son was so bad for this as a newborn. I'd put him up by my shoulder and he sounded like a trumpet. I found it rather funny!

I would have felt worse if he never did this and it caused him tummy problems.

BOTH my girls fart alot ( takes after daddy ) since newborn its all very normal.

We just started using Enfamil Gentlease Lipil and she farts SO much less now..and it's only been a full day! YAY!
